Home Inspections Real 101 Episodes

Home Inspection Thermal Imaging With Infrared

Buying a home can be a stressful process, and sometimes its made more stressful after the home purchase. The reason for this is because some home buyers don’t perform a home inspection before closing. This is why its always a good idea to make any offer conditional on review of the property by a qualified home inspector. But there are a few different types of home inspections that can be performed on a home and one of them is a thermal imaging home inspection. This is done by using an infrared camera that detects heat.

A home inspection with a infrared camera is a more in depth kind of home inspection that can reveal problems that would normally not be found by the naked eye. This kind of home inspection does cost a little bit more then your standard home inspection but well worth the cost. A standard home inspection costs about $350 and a thermal imaging home inspection costs around $500. So for only another $150 on average you get piece of mind knowing that the home was thoroughly reviewed.
