Hiding Money In Divorce Or Family Law Cases

Hiding money in divorce or family law cases is rarely a good idea but that doesn’t stop people from trying to get away with it. Family lawyers and judges are always on the lookout for people that engage in this kind of behavior, and if your caught not only can it cost you thousands of dollars in legal fees, it may also land you in trouble with the law.

People go to great lengths to hide money in divorces in order to avoid paying more support payments, and to keep more to themselves. But good family lawyers know how to find hidden money especially considering the amount of times they deal with these kinds of situations.

Lawyers find money and assets all over the place including hidden bank accounts, assets in other countries, and cash transactions just to name a few.

Claiming that your ex spouse is hiding money based on suspicions alone is not enough for courts or lawyers to determine or award anything. Proof must always be provided in order to ensure a fair proceeding. If you are currently going through this kind of situation, contact a good family lawyer and explain your situation.

Any proof you can provide your lawyer with is a great start, and will allow them to do the best job possible.
